G'day lads,

Im new to the whole ftb thing and I saw continuum and was interested. I play on a server with a few mates and we made some slight changes to the pack, but nevertheless I cant load into the server I just crash.

Rig is
i5-7200U
8gig ddr3
920M
and 4 gig allocated.

I should be able to run fine right?

You probably need more ram. Basically 4GB was ok for ver. 1.7.10 packs. 1.12.2 packs need closer to 6-8GB to run properly. I run my stuff with about 7GB and rarely see less than 100fps.

You might try allocating 6GB but that might not work depending on your OS ram requirements... You still have to have about 2GB left for the OS to run smoothly.

No where near enough info to diagnose anything here. I would say that as long as 4+ gigs of ram are allocated to Minecraft, you should be able to at least load any pack. So, first make sure you have at least that much allocated. AFAIK, that's the only system requirement issue that would cause a crash on startup. So, most likely, the hardware is not your problem.

If you took the entire modpack and uploaded all of those mods to the server mod folder without removing any client-only mods, THAT is your problem. And on that, you're a little bit on your own going through enabling and disabling as necessary until it works.
