conveyor belts, left is up, right is down.View attachment 3426

I too have this setup, although I color code them. You know what I wish I had? An _attractive_ block where if you fall on it, you take no falling damage for a really extreme distance. I'd love to have a spiral staircase up and a fast fall down that was is water.

I don't get how people use arcane elevators everywhere though. They're sort of awkward to work with.

Since I'm over on 1.5.1 now, I'd love to know what vanilla solutions people use. I'm honestly considering minecarts because I don't have RP2 anymore!

Trampolines.

What provides those? I've never actually seen one?

Oh it's an IC2 thing. Nevermind, mang. The odds of IC2 being in RR are pretty low given how well-trodden that mod is. Even Direwolf20 can't sell it it's so stale.

Actually diabetes is a sickness where you've got a problem with blood sugar, but it's not caused by sugar.

It's either hereditary or cause by fat.

Type 2 diabetes is caused by insulin resistance and is related to sugar consumption not fat, sugar in the bloodstream is bad juju and insulin is designed to clean it up. To much insulin in your system over time and you become insulin resistant and develop diabetes. You don't have to be fat to get it.

I come from a family where diabetes is common and I'm married to a diabetic. I know more about diabetes then I ever wanted to. The diabetes / fat connection comes from the fact that most overweight people, consume large amounts of carbohydrates and sugars, which also accounts for the increasing prevalence of type II diabetes in America.

Well, what they've taught me is that fat causes a defect in the pancreas(that it drowns the beta cells basically), which causes diabetes. Thought the other type is hereditary and that's it. Oh well, the more you know, eh?

I think this information is less confidently taught now. It turns out we really don't have a good handle on obesity, diabetes and the specific preconditions for each. In fact, both may even be spectrum disorders masking a family of diseases.
