Known hacks/exploits in Unleashed 1.1.2?

Hey all.

I recently had an incident of grief on my server and I am trying to work out why. The griefer stole various chests including the contents and the chests themselves. The victim had their plot protected with griefprevention, portal/grav guns are banned, force wrench can't bypass griefprevention. The player(s) who I found to have done the griefing were only new players so can't have possibly crafted anything like a vajra (which can bypass griefprevention) and they are also banned for new players.

Any ideas on ways they could have bypassed the protection? Also - they had a lot of quarries. Are there any known dupe exploits in Unleashed?

I've looked in the main bugs thread and couldn't see anything that answered my question there.

if the chests were broken Obvious mod item probably a mining laser

if the chests were bypassed and just opened id say BC pipes? or maybe Grief Prevention didn't protect that chest properly?
Or most likely that the owner of that chest took all of his items out of that chest and lied to you

iirc, turtles if [computercraft] is trusted can be moved in to interact with chests. but it depends on the plugin you are using

Force wrench, wand of dislocation bypasses all protections and hides who used it from coreprotect and logblock.

From the title btw getting past a grief prevention system on a modded server is not a hack/exploit. They are not ment to work together.


But anyways best way to destoy someone elses base MFFS with disenengration module.

I wasn't saying getting past griefprevention was a hack/exploit, I was just asking if there were any hacks/exploits that people could do to pick up/break chests and the such in ways they were not intended to.

The chests were all gone and I found all their stuff in another location. The thing that baffled me though is most items that can be used for this kind of thing (and bypass GP) are banned, for example the mining laser, grav gun etc.

Could have been a possibility they used a turtle and the wand of dislocation is not banned but I can't see how a new player to the server is going to get one of those in a reasonable amount of time. Force wrench cannot bypass GP.
