IDK if this is where I report this, but my chicken stick isn't breaking down ore gravel into the crushed ores - it's just dropping the gravel

It is only intended to work on cobble, gravel and sand. Not the ore versions.

Is it working as intended that seeds planted on farmland will only yield one of the item? I ask because I just played through the start of this map this afternoon, (I'm in Australia FWIW) and it took quite some time for some crops to grow as I'd run short on bonemeal, being a little rusty at skyblocks.

I got to the stage where I could plant a carrot seed and three times it regrew, when harvested 3 times, they only gave one seed which of course replanted the crop and gave me nothing in return, as that's how the farming works with auto-replant systems.

Is this "working as intended" due to the fact that Agricraft is in this skyblock and in order to actually gain extra carrots I would have to use crop sticks and breed the seeds up before I will get extra crops back from them? Or is this a bug I should file a report about?

I haven't seen anything at all in the in-game FTB Utilities Guide accessible from the menu that says how crops should work, perhaps someone can add a section that details the intended method of crop farming to survive on?

Is it "working as intended" or a bug that I can actually plant seeds on tilled farmland without cropsticks on it? If that is a bug, then that definitely needs to be fixed. When I play a skyblock, i normally just go with whatever works. But if this wasn't intended to work, it would be confusing to new players to leave it there and becomes pointless to have in the skyblock.

Hoping someone can staighten all of this out properly, expert or not. :D

Pam's oats seeds and bamboo shoots using agricraft share the exact same recipe. Maybe RNG was against me (or I'm missing something) but after 30+ mutations I only got bamboo shoots and never pays.

Edit: sorry if I was supposed to create a new topic for this.

Just going to note in this post that the server island data might not be saved to a very good spot. Having it save anywhere in the world save folder might work better.

I am not for sure of which system you are referencing. With agricraft you only eve get one seed back. It is needed to spread the crop to farmland to harvest more seeds. Using two crop sticks on one patch of farmland next to a existing corp might cause this. Some planting systems in mods won't even return a seed unless the crop is fully mature when broken.

The benefit of agricraft is the guaranteed multiple drops on high end crop seeds. Some modpacks lock out every other system of planting.

I am not for sure. It is always worth right clicking a fully mature vanilla crop to see if it can be harvested without breaking. It doesn't work on agricraft seeds planted without sticks though.

I am referencing the vanilla system, which may or may not have been modified in this skyblock modpack.

Regardless, either I got a very bad RNG dice roll three times in a row, which I do not believe possible, or it's intended we have to use the Agricraft crop system to grow more plants. if the developers of the skyblock state they haven't tinkered with vanilla mechanics regarding farming at all, I'll simply have to write them off as the worst ever RNG rolls I've had to date playing 1.7 modpacks.

Also, depending on how Agricraft works, it is possible that it will recognize vanilla carrots that drop from a harvested plant as crops it can automatically replant. I had heard rumours from a popular YouTuber that farming doesn't work well in this modpack, or maybe they really had a bad run of luck as well. Who knows for sure?

Before filing this as a bug report, I need to know what the modpack developers intended.

Hey guys,
I hope this is the right place to post it.

Found a bug, where the Autocompressor is able to compact plastic into plastic sheets without using rocket fuel and stuff. Just the plain old recipe.

Would be nice, if a mod etc. would delete or black my post out, so people won't be able to use that cheaty way.

When I spawn the nether, it's empty void in all directions. Anyone else getting this?
I'm on 1.0.4

- Even if I delete the DIM-1 directory, and respawn the nether, it's empty and void.

It's a skyblock. This is by design.

Thanks, Quetzi. How does one attain Nether Quartz, then?

Trying to make a Drawer Controller, which requires Comparators, which requires Nether Quartz. Currently, NEI only lists going elbow-deep into bees to get it.

You can sieve soul sand (sand in witchwater)

Excellent. Thank you. I must have missed that listing in NEI.

Just want to say "thank you" to the FTB Team, both the developers and testers. You guys did an excellent job.
I only have one suggestion, and that is to make the Turtle Recipe a bit more early/mid-game. Since there's nothing to mine, it could be an alternative to the absent Auto-Packager, giving people another option besides Compacting Storage Drawers and Crafty Crate for ore compacting. Just a humble suggestion. Keep up the great work.

Hi,
I might just not be used to sky blocks, but I was progressing entirely through magic and came across the air sigil from blood magic which requires ender air bottles from botania, but as far as I know the end isn't accessible. If that's true how would I be able to obtain the ender air bottles? Both nei and the book say only obtainable in the end so I feel like I'm just missing something but couldn't find confirmation anywhere.
Thanks

Usually if it is obtainable, there's supposed to be a means of getting there or getting something that gets you there. Most skyblock modpacks that do go to The End require you to craft either End Portal Frame blocks or some other form of craftable item, like End Cake, to get there.

Check NEI for non-standard recipes involving Ender Pearls and Eyes of Ender and you might find your answer.
