Hmm...I'll give that a look, thankee! I do like making things efficient.

Primarily, it can be used for repairs. However, I plan on having it be used in some machines, as a fuel or item to be processed. I'm hammering it out as we speak.

Its really simple, you just do all the stuff in modblocks, having it in a method called init() in modblocks then do "ModBlocks.init();" in your base class ^^

Very simple...I like it! And you say Pahimar came up with this? Every day, I think that man can't possibly get any cooler, and I am continually proven wrong. That man's a bloody genius, and not just for the above. What I'd give for an hour or two to pick his brain...

an what are applications for scrap metal?
The Scrap Metal business (we shall not refer to it as the 'junk' business) is a very lucrative one. Without needing to smelt the ores down into something usable, it is an easy matter of simply melting down or otherwise manipulating the scrap to fit repair requirements, significantly reducing repair costs.

It is such a lucrative business, in fact, that one could purchase an Opera House in Paris, of all places, with the profits from such a business. Of course, you might want to determine why that particular opera house was relatively inexpensive before purchasing...

Pretty much, aye. You can make entirely new parts, and repair them with ingots and such, but you can get more bang for your buck with scrap metal. Plus, repairing with scrap metal will be much more easy to automate than entirely replacing them or using ingots.
