Just upgraded Java - am told to upgrade Java

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title:
Just upgraded Java - am told to upgrade Java
Launcher Version:
1.4.3 (Build 10403)
Modpack:
BeeHappy
Modpack Version:
Current
Log Link:
Details of the issue:
As you can see in the beginning part of the log, I'm using Java version 1.8 0_73. Despite that, when I launch the modpack, I get a message that I'm using an older version of Java and should update to 1.8 or higher. It does not prevent me from using the modpack, but it is somewhat confusing.

"Preferred: Java Version: 1.7.0_71 sorted as: 1.7.0_71 64 Bit Java at : C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_71\bin\java.exe"

You have multiple versions of Java on your puter

JavaFinder.parseJavaVersion:168: Java Version: 1.8.0_73 sorted as: 1.8.0_73 32 Bit Java at : C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_73\bin\java.exe

E: should prolly try to help ya fix it as well but I forgot....

So, go to the "options" tab on launcher, check bottom-left corner. Should say Java 1.7 blabla. Hit advanced options and change Java path to the 1.8 one.

E2: Oh shit, didn't even notice the java is 32bit
