Java TM SE binary has stop working

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Check the crash reports folder inside the modpack folder.

In the logs folder post the fml-client-latest.log or if there is a crash report in the crash reports folder, post it.

In this case there probably is not crashlog. Console log is safest because multiple reasons:

In the launcher's options tab, check the boxes "Show Console" and "Reopen launcher when Minecraft exits". Then launch your pack again and when the crash/error/other problem occurs/game stops responding longer than 5 minutes, click the "upload log" button in console window and give us the link.

I've been getting the same error all day. It LOOKS like its related to the launcher trying to download a .json file that I can't imagine would be needed. In my case I'm trying to play IE:S which is a 1.7.10 pack but the file I'm erroring out on is 1.9.json which goes in the install/assets/index folder. I checked there for myself and see a 1.7.10.json and a 1.8.json and being that I'm playing a 1.7.10 pack I don't know why it would be looking for a 1.9 json file. I have the log here pastebinned if it helps. This is the console log from the launcher not the fml log. I checked the FML log but the error seems to be in the launcher portion not the actual mods themselves. My instance gets to the end of phase 1 loading and then errors out.

It looks like file is downloaded by vanilla launcher but then vanilla launcher fails to read it from disk. Check your antivirus log and settings.

Reporting but to mojang/curse might be also good idea.

Don't even have any antivirus. The weird thing is I got the instance running last night/this morning by moving the instance to MultiMC. It worked last night but now it's crashing again. No clue what the deal is...

I've heard there's a piece of malware called Wamjam that's been giving users Minecraft issues, uninstall if you've got it. Its a longshot, but worth looking.

Going off of this suggestion. This is the log that was upload from the console. Please tell me what is wrong and how do i fix it so i can play some modded MC.

http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/3f5e33dd

Would also like to state that I can get into vanilla MC 1.10 just fine. but whenever i attempt to get into a modded pack via FTB or ATlaucher this crash happens during the loading process of the pack. i don't even get to the main menu before this thing takes a crap on me.

Reallyreallyreally hard crash from GPU driver. Try reinstalling/updating/downgrading GPU drivers.

Same answer for both.

Hello, i've been having a similar problem too, i would have started my own post but i don't know how to do that so i'm posting on here.
But while i'm launching minecraft forge 1.11.2, A pop up shows saying java tm se binary has stopped working.
if you could help me to fix it I would be very happy.

Here is the error report from the crash if you understand it I would be very happy.
