While I agree that Factorizaton alone should suffice, it is always good to have more choices. And in this case, I would use the JABBA as well as Factorization. I really like the dolly for it makes relocation easy, just up and go. Instead of having to either break the barrel and have a major spill to clean up or make new barrels and transfer them via your sorting network.
Also, the upgrading process is also much more gradual unlike the dark iron requirement, which not only requires tnt, diamonds as well as making a craftpacket stamper and also coupled with the need for ender pearls, which makes it a pretty late game option for upgrading.
The top input and bottom output only mechanism compared to JABBA's also makes it a slightly inferior choice (talking about barrels only, I love the router.)
But all in all, this is just my own opinion. (Nowadays you need this disclaimer. :()

ohh yeah people who play with mekanism would also be grateful that you can also dolly around your machines... not that Mek is already intelligent enough to actually store its current inventory in the machines but for people lazy for a wrench may find the dolly its second purpose

Being able to use the dolly on IC2 machines is quite nice. Using the electric wrench in loss less mode consumes quite a bit of energy. I've been picking up and, plunking down my machines regularly.

So far so good. I've replaced the barrels mod I've been using for almost two years now to give this one a shot. So far so good. I have yet to experience a single instability issue and, these barrels interact with TE item pipes without issue. My only complaint is that the items pop out of the barrel and, onto the floor when the barrel is clicked instead of popping into your inventory.

I hope this gets added to JABBA, either as standard or through an upgrade. it's nice that you don't need to actually hold the items that you want to put in a barrel, if you've a cobble barrel, and you've cobble somewhere in your inventory, you can doubleclick the barrel and the cobble goes straight into the barrel, though I don't know if an empty hand is required though

it's also very awesome you can lock barrels, very useful for people using barrels in automated setups

Well, this is cool, but I don't really see in a point in having 4(?) kind of barrels from different mobs. I mean, normal factorization ones work just fine for me.

factorization is a nice mod, but not really a mod I'd completely use... I mainly just use it for barrels and routers. I've always wanted to get more into it, but I was always busy doing other things. right now I'm playing a magic centered modlist, so instead of factoriation I was using the barrels mod, but quickly dunked that out when JABBA came out

the barrels are conveniently eye-sighting your inventory meaning even when holding something and you double rightclick the barrel lets say contains cobblestone all the cobblestone in your inventory will be sent into that barrel

pretty damn sweet, now only if mobius would change it so items go directly into your inventory and this mod will beat all the other barrel mods out there with a huge victory

whats best about JABBA is the feature its an automatic ore dictionary meaning you dont need books (which most ore dictionary identifiers use) just to get you ore inventory mess organized and some recipes for ore dictionaries tend to be expensive for early game emeralds? diamonds quartz... in fact I'd recommend an ore dictionary to be very cheap because really its an inventory clutter when mining imagine when you have mods that add 36 types of copper and tin to the world gen I'm sure your mining trips will be very painful unless a server admin is kind enough to stop the ore gen of redundant ores which of course I always do when I start sharing my pack to my friends thank gods for TeamCoFH's retrogen and ore generation control

As a temporary solution we can simply move all the patterns and the pattern chest itself into a normal chest, then use the dolly. But I hope to see that functionality implemented in future versions, it would be very useful.

I prefer dolly's mechanic over the force wrench. Early game it feels less cheaty to use.

I'm someone who gets really irritated if things like patterns and casts are not in the right order... so moving them from chest like chest, THEY NEED TO BE IN THE RIGHT ORDER GO*$(%*#(% it'd all be solved if the pattern chest just could keep it's inventory when broken, it's not like you can put anything else then patterns or casts in there...

*lifts the coffin lid, wraps the corpse in bandages soaked in an aromatic Au Jus of human blood and hedgehog heart, and mutters some random latin-sounding words*

Quick question on these Jabba barrels -- from reading I see there is a Dolly in the mod to move things around without losing their configurations, which is very cool. But conversely, can the Crescent Hammer from TE pick up these barrels intact? Or is it the Dolly or nothing?

Things that can move normal & iron chests would work for moving these barrels (portal gun & wand of dislocation). The hammer from TE will not.

Yeah, was just hoping normal "wrenching" was supported by JABBA. No worries though, the dolly will work just fine.

don't forget the new diamond dolly can let you carry spawners 6 times before it breaks... JABBA 1.1 looks pretty good BSpace one of the best upgrade I see for a practical use for a workshop
