Solved Item frame requires oak planks

I've been playing the 2.0.1 modpack, and as described below my first tree did not drop a sapling, so I went on to use the birch tree, however, I could not use the birch planks for the item frame for the seebeck generator

Also, I didn't test, but the first quest seems to want a basic oak wood drawer, now sure if you can complete it with birch wood

I know you can at least change the item frame to use any planks instead of specifically oak wood

Not getting a sapling is an homage to classic skyblock. Opening to LAN, turning on cheats, giving yourself an oak sapling is also an homage to classic skyblock.

But, you're also right that the recipes should NOT (edit) care which planks.

well, sure, i did it the hard way and stomped on the panic button and got a spare sapling, but yeah, the item frame should still not care which planks
