Is there still bee breeding in 1.6.4?

I am using the DW20 pack. I've been playing for about 3 weeks or so, and just not realized there is no extra bees, etc, to breed. Thus greatly reducing a lot of what there is to do (IMO) after you have such a wealth of resources as I do.

Was EB, and ET updated for 1.6.4 after it went live, and if so where could I get it?

I thought those two had gotten merged into "bennie mod"? I could be wrong tho, and it may not be super stable

it is updated, but there's currently a serious world corrupting bug with Binnie's mods, that's why it was not added to any of the packs right now.
Binnie is working on a fix, but it's not released yet. so you can add Binnie's mods yourself, but do note that your world might get corrupted.

as for bee/tree breeding, it's done by Forestry, so if Forestry is installed you're able to breed trees and bees, there's just not as many bees and trees without Binnie's mods

There is magic bees added if I remember. If you want more branches to dive into.

LOL serious world corruption bug..... yeah if you take an item and drop it in a way no one would ever do.

Unless you did it deliberately (and any admin worth their salt knows how to edit it out) there's 0 chance of stumbling upon the bug.

RR has been using extra bees without any issues or world ending reports. The only other issue (displaying incorrect carpenter liquid recipes in NEI) is fixed in the latest versions of Forge.

Also Binnie is back and fixing EB.

I've been using Binnie's mods 1.8-dev2 in my 1.6.4 worlds for months now and no issue. I agree with b0bst3r - the world-corrupting bugs should be a corner case. Just avoid putting honey or strange things in barrels and you should be OK. With wax capsules coming out of your arse with a decent bee setup, there's no reason to use barrels anyways.

Also, Gendustry is in Alpha/Beta (pre-release) and it looks pretty good.

My advice : add binnie-mods-1.8-dev2.jar and keep your eye on Binnie. He's back and it's possible we could be seeing an update/fix. Also, checkout Gendustry if your'e so inclined.

the reason why FTB hasn't added Extra Bees yet is because if there's even the smallest chance of a world corrupting bug, they will not take the chance.
as the playerbase is quite huge for FTB, even the rarest moments of a world corrupting bug may happen to players, and they do not wish that to happen.

now FTB could've released a fix for this, but I think they rather not do it unless Binnie agrees with this fix. or maybe Binnie is already working on a fix and FTB rather prefers to wait for Binnie. now updating forge could also fix the problem, but this would affect all the mods in all the modpacks with Binnie's mods in there, and that requires more and more testing.

now stop comparing Resonant Rise with Feed The Beast. yes, they both make modpacks, but they're 2 completely different things. RR do things their way, and so does FTB

I think the bug is with ComputerCraft.

I've had two (test) worlds corrupted by mixing Factorization, Thermal Expansion and Thaumcraft. I dare not tell the FTB Team in fear of losing these mods.

Please do tell, otherwise the interaction might not be corrected...

Golems pulling apple oak saplings out of barrels that are feed by itemducts then the golems planting the apple oak saplings from underneath the barrel connected to a block of dirt. I was testing a tree farm using a Extra Utilities BUD Detector connected to Open Blocks block breaker. Hoppers surrounded everywhere else to pick up tree drops. This was in the DW20. Now it's the responsibility of anyone who reads this. Ha.
