I'm aware there was a bukkit plugin but bukkits gone now.

I don't think they dislike c418's music. They just want to listen to their own music in game. Imagine this: you're out exploring, you hit a creeper, and a skellie shoots at you from behind, dropping a music disk from the creeper. Imagine your excitement when you put that disk into a jukebox to find that it isn't Blocks, but your favourite song!

but it isn't relevant to the discussion, the question is if there is a mod that exists. other than the misc peripherals, I can't think of any, but I'm sure you can scour the minecraft forum for it

All of the ways that I know to do this are horribly complicated and buggy at best.

I suggest you google "youtube repeat", and then use it to repeat whatever music you want playing. Link people on your server to that if you want them to hear it as well. Good luck!
