Is there a RF replacement for the BC filler?

As a whole, the modded MC community has been slowly distancing itself from Buildcraft and going to RF for a large number of reasons which need not be discussed here. Extra Utilites can now run as a pretty decent BC replacement with the pipes, ender quarry, and ender pump. Anyhow is there a good replacement out there for the filler? All I care about is that it can flatten large tracts of land, not make the structures.

Tinker's Hammer and Excavator, Shovel of the Earthmover, Builder's Wand.
They may not be as quick, but they definitely help. Beyond that, definitely turtles. A bit of basic lua and the CC wiki goes a long way, and before long you'll have them carving cuboid holes, constructing shells of buildings and flattening terrain for you. Adaptive little buggers, turtles.

You could use Mekanisms digital miner. You can tell it exactly what y level range, and up to a radius of 32 blocks around it to remove blocks, then tell it what to replace them with from its inventory. Havent specifically tried it on air blocks yet, but you could give it a shot.

Edit: Also MFFS could be manipulated to do this kind of work, but the power might scale a little badly for some applications.

Just use the filler. One redstone or ledstone pipe will convert RF to MJ for it's use. And don't be so quick to throw Buildcraft away. Space toad the original author is back in the game and has stared giving the mod the kick in the pants it needs. There's no word yet but he might make the other guys give the mod RF compatibility.

Can't really plan around what a mod may do, have to work with what it does do. Hard to legitimize keeping certain mods for one or two machines.

The filler is the one block that keeps BC in my pack. @Num1564, we'll see. Although, RF compatibility is really a non-issue, because conduits. Other than the filler, everything that BC added has been (obviously my opinion) replaced with an equivalent, and usually superior item.

The original reason I started this thread was to see if there was a small mod that added a filler replacement that I could add to MF2 without breaking the balance. Since Mekanism is out of the question, it seems like the answer is no. :(

Ars Magica has a sigil that levels the terrain around it. Sigil of the Packed Earth, I believe?

Any particular reason why Mek is out of the question? Just curious.

Seconding this; AM2 has the Sigil of Flat Lands as well, which I think is for leveling above it, and Packed Earth for below.

Redstone in Motion? I dunno if it does the whole block breaker thing, but its got frames and frame motors like RedPower, so you could probably build an auto-flattening thingy with those and a little work. If RiM doesn't have a block breaker, I know Random Things does, along with a few other useful little odds and ends.
