Not only is only the wiki slow but I constantly get server errors bad gateways and just problems

The bad gateways and stuff were because of the cache server, I thought.
As for the wiki being slow, sure, perhaps Apache would help with that. Trials should be done or something. Sure glad I'm not on the wiki team anymore
5 min ago I was testing servers so far I have nginx apache iis. I tested XenForo on them and nginx faired well. Next ill test MediaWiki then Drupal and WordPressThe bad gateways and stuff were because of the cache server, I thought.

The problem is not nginx, the problem is the mediawiki software itself is configured incorrectly and has poorly written extensions. Those problems will be fixed by the transition to Gamepedia because the Curse folks know how to configure mediawiki correctly and are fixing the problems with the extensions.

Ok, From my observations MediaWiki does benefit from NGINX and also using Binary and not UTF-8 As the Character Set

My guess is the lack of theme. I like custom themes, they make wikis look modern and... not template-ish.
I'm also getting some severe lag while scrolling on the new wiki.
