The dimlet scrambler combines three dimlets and poops out another dimlet with a higher chance of getting rarer dimlets.
What is this thing about cursed earth in the end? I have a farm in the over world but I rarely get unknown dimlets from it. Wouldn't it be faster to go searching in the worlds you create???True, but odds are still not in your favor. It took a long time to get the Efficiency Dimlets I wanted, even with a 10x10 Cursed Earth farm in the end running 24/7 on our server. Granted, I did get the Dragons Dimlet along the way, but random doesn't help when the aim is specific.
As I said, I would plan on making the UU-matter yourself. If the Dimlet drops before you're done, you will still have all your UU-matter. After all, if oceans are needed, you'll have a use for every drop you make before that, right?

So you can discover the uu matter dimlet from an unknown dimlet? What are the % chances on that? lolEndermen have a chance to drop dimlets.
So curse earth in The End, or a powered spawner in the overworld, will yield many dimelts.

Uh, I just realized chris becke mentioned specifically endermen (only) drop dimlets. For some reason I misunderstood and thought any mob could drop dimlets.

That makes a lot of sense, I may try that. Angel block in the middle of nowhere should do the trick. I forget what the default Y level of the End island is, I could probably just go straight up too.That is why I suggested a small farm in the End. Since all that can soawn there are Enderman, it punps them out rapidly, particularly if you build it off the main island far enough that your farm is the only valid spawn around.
I dont even know how the ic2 uu matter mechanic works. Im pretty sure it used to be "items" that you shaped in a recipe to get items.
GT uses scanners and replicators so that you can consume UU liquid to produce scanned dusts. Does the IC2 thing work similarly now?

For instance I know people are using it to make iridium a lot (sensible) but could I use it for, say, pokefennium or primal mana or other stuff that I find particularly onerous to make?It's exactly the same mechanics, it's only the recipes for all the stuff that got a bit more difficult (which is kind of ironic to say when comparing to a GT pack hahahaha).
You make IC2 Crystal Disks and put them into an IC2 Scanner, then scan the item and save the resulting data to the disk. Then take the Crystal Disk and put that into a IC2 Pattern Storage which is touching an IC2 Replicator. Send UU Matter from your row of Mass Fabs to the Replicator. Select which item you wish to Replicate and click the "repeat run" button. It will reproduce the item selected until it runs out of UU Matter.
The Pattern Storage can hold numerous different items but each Crystal Disk can only contain one. After each disk is read into the Pattern Storage, I remove the Crystal Disk and put it away somewhere safe. The patterns will all remain in the Pattern Storage until you break the block. You do NOT have to power the Pattern Storage device. But the Replicator, Scanner, and Mass Fabs are all 2048 EU/t machines (in theory - in actual practice you can give the Mass Fabs almost infinite power and they will run super fast).
