So, I'm playing unleashed 1.5.2 1.1.7 which has forestry 2.2.8.4 installed.
Now, for some reason I can't find an arboretum, logger or forester in the NEI.
Is that due to them being disabled, are they not added in this version or whatelse it might be?
I was rather hesitant when changing from the old farms to the new multifarms, but tbh I haven't regretted it. Once you get over the odd shape they have, they are quite good and quite versatile. They dont feel so Op as some of the other choices and they can reasonably well be incorporated into a decent looking build.
I quite enjoy how you can devide each multifarm up into 4 different crops and later change it around should you want to. Its the same hardware that does it all. Treefarm, fruit, wheat, rubber etc.to be honest, I haven't used any multifarm yet... I've been wanting to, but I always ended up going for another tree farm

Yeah thats my biggest issue with them. The aweful shape and that empty area in the middle. The old square farms were so easy to incorporate into your builds and would look really nice(yeah ok you had to have those 2 bronze blocks and some pipes showing).I just wish the multifarms could look a little bit.... prettier. though to be honest, the single block farms weren't exactly a beauty queen either >.<
guess I should finally man up this time and actually build a multifarm in 1.6

Yeah if there were a way of telling each farm to only use one specific farm underlay you could interlace them as crosses. But it would not really produce a symmetric pattern unless you use it on a large scale.I guess it's possible to use them in a build that makes them look better, though the only way I can see this being done is by using several multifarms next to eachother... which isn't exactly what I would call "efficient"
