Is anyone using Steve's Carts 2 for automatic mining?

If I'm going for efficient horizontal mining, I'll use a CC turtle. But, as noah_wolfe aptly put it:

it just often reaches a point where I think "well, this is extremely efficient. And as flavorful as frozen pizza"

I love that ! I'm reading this thread as a different, more interesting way to do horizontal mining, even if it's not the fastest and most efficient. And, if it is, all the better !

I'm sorry for the necro, but I just had to know.

Maybe it would be an idea for SC to implement a route planner of some kind for the railer. For instance:
go 7 in z direction, go -200 in x direction, go -7 in z direction, go 200 in x direction, go 7 in z direction, loop.
This would create a rectangular railway of 201 by 8 and then another 201 by 8 railway next to it and so on and so on.

What I really want to know is: does computercraft already add something like this? (or would it be programmable?)
It still would be cooler if it were added to SC though...
