Solved Invisible Item/Liquiducts

So our server owner updated our server before reading JadedCat's post about removing item/liquiducts first

Now that we are updated we have a bunch of itemducts with lots of entities stuck in them. Opis was showing a 110+ ms tick rate on some of them. Is there a way to remove them after the update has been applied? Based on JadedCat's post, my assumption is "no", that server owners will need to roll the server back before the update, remove the pipes, then apply the update again. Hoping someone discovered an easier fix than this.
