Mac internal exception:java.net.socketexception:connection reset error

so,i'm on a mac and suddenly this error popped up.i basically can't join FTB servers anymore,i did everything the basic troubleshooting support thing told me to do,no changes. singleplayer works just fine,and i'm able to join vanilla servers as well.
the console always turn red and in the end some white text about portal-and gravitygun. i'm not sure if that last thing always pops up.
please i would love a simple awnser to this problem,even though i know this is not gonna leave as sudden as it came
