Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could give me instruction on how to install mo creatures with the Direwolf20 1.6.4 pack. I don't know where jar files go now.

Thanks in advance :).

Go to the Mo' Creatures downloads page and follow the instructions there. There are two required mods that need to be installed as well. Both of them are linked in the downloads page and each linked mod contains instructions how to install them. The jars should all go into the mods folder unless instructed otherwise in the instructions for each mod.

I don't want to install it in vanilla minecraft. I mean to install it through the ftb launcher, clicking edit mod pack and you used to put mo creatures and the custom mob spawner in mods, and gui api in jar mods. Now there is only a mod tab, so where does the gui api go?

Same place. Be warned you should dig through their configs. I dropped it straight into mine and ended up with a plaines biome with 100+ horses in it. Was really irritating.

So the gui api just goes in the mod tab now. It worked, but now whenever a mo creature entity drops an item, the client crashes back to launcher. I'm assuming this is caused by a item id conflict? How can I fix this?

As far as I can see, it's only items that don't appear on NEI that cause a crash, like wyvern/komodo dragon eggs

Try getting ID Fixer Minus that is what I used to straighten out my pack (207 so far). Out of those 207 mods I only got like 20 block id's, 5 or 6 item ID's and about 10 biomes that weren't handled. Note this will likely jack up your configs so be prepared for a new world after running this. So far I've not had any issues after this, and have been living off horse meat for a couple weeks now (i feel bad every time).
