Details of the issue:

I can connect to the server and as long as i stay at the spawn area, everything works fine. As soon as I join a friends island and the chunks are loaded, Minecraft chrashes with an "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION". Reinstalling Java and the modpack dind't solve the problem. I made no changes on the modpack or installed a resource pack. Clean install -> join -> crash.
The problem is the same with the FTB and the Curse Launcher.

thanks that worked. Can you tell me what brought you to the conclusion that it was the driver? so i see it next time?

Usually updating drivers is the first thing to try when something like this fucks up

i didn't think of the drivers, because i usually try to keep them up to date. But thanks. Next time I check that first.
