Infinity Crashes When Loading Singleplayer world?

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title:
Infinity Crashes When Loading Singleplayer world?
Launcher Version: 1.4.11
Modpack: Infinity Evolved
Modpack Version: 2.4.2
Log Link: http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/ca1a7f35
Details of the issue:
Long story short, the computer my save is from (different harddrive) can not play ftb as it requires Java. Without going into detail, java is no longer able to be installed and I cant launch ftb from that drive, therefore I can not test whether or not it crashes on the hard drive it originated from.
Anyways, I can start new singleplayer worlds just fine, however, when I try to load the world that again, originated from a different hard drive (dont think that matters?) it loads in for half a second (long enough to view my hotbar inventory and even get a glance at a few ender-chests that render before the game closes.

Using MCEdit, removing this block should fix it.
Entity's Block location: World: (-79,73,-174)

So, Using MCedit, I saw there was a block, and I deleted it and surrounding blocks (for redundency, there wasnt much there anyway). So, basically it was a 5x5 selection with the block in the center. Deleted and cleared it though to no avail. Still game crashes and here is the updated log after deletion:

I Searched the document and still found the same entry as before
Entity's Block location: World: (-79,73,-174),

though there is now nothing there, or at least to my best knowledge. MCedit displays nothing being there. Any idea?

Try setting the blocks in that area to stone instead of air.

And were you or (Misadventure) trying to interact with a barrel before it crashed?

I do not believe so. I recall my player's position being about 50(ish) blocks away from the coordinate listed when I last exited the game without crash, and no barrels to be interacted with nearby.
Upon using MCedit to replace the blocks in that area with stone, I still crash. Here is the updated log: http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/6712c419

TAke a backup of everything important and delete your player.dat file (nowadays uuid.dat). See if that fixes the ticking

Still nothing. Arg. Spent an enourmous amount of time on this save. Would hate to have to scrap it ):
Take a backup of the world and everything important. Try disabling ProjectRed completely next and load the world, see if it still crashes

Now my question is, what in redpower is causing this issue? Is that known? I kinda do want to use some of the blocks redpower introduces but if thats the source of the crash, I wonder is there anyway I can get around this?

Since it was a ticking entity, chances are it was just a random crash caused by something like power outage or unexpected shutdown or anything really that just left a mark. I haven't had any problems with ProjectRed yet personally.
