I'm trying to get Titanium for a quarry and i made the Industrial Electrolyzer but all I have for power is a geothermal generator. Should I make more geothermal generators to hook up to it? Also which wrench do i need to use to collect it?

Make an MFE, you need a constant supply of 128 EU/t, and 512,000 EUs for electrolyzing 1 titanium (not counting the 128,000 EUs cost of making it in a Blast Furnace), also, use the Industrialcraft wrench or Omnitools wrench.

Problem is i have no diamonds to make energy crystals. :/

Is the Industrialcraft Wrench the bronze one?

Yes, just look in the area where Industrialcraft Items are. Gregtech also adds an alternative recipe for energy crystals using rubies instead of diamonds.

Made an MFE but my copper cable exploded. I'm assuming i need the glass fibre cable?

Edit: Figured out the cable. But now I need an industrial blast furnace and a rolling machine. Really starting to hate this quarry recipe. I obviously need to fix my power situation. How many electrical engines should i make for a magma crucible?

You only need 2 electrical engines with 2 bronze+1 tin tube upgrades (that's about 70 EU/t around 10 advanced solar panel) to provide 20 MJ/t to magma crucible. or Just use biomass+charcoal (oak tree farm) /methane(rubber wood) energy->railcraft boiler->industrial steam engine->magma crucible.

er just use the electrical wrench (lossless mode), I don't remember if you need the steel for the electrical wrench lol.. If you need steel then better make a blast furnace first (the railcraft one).

IIRC the non-electrical IC2 wrench only have 80% chance to do thing properly. GT engines will break if you use pickaxe or if you fail to pick it with the 80%wrench (leave you a machine hull instead of machine block), and EXPLODE if you break it with a pickaxe while the machine is still working. so lossless mode el. wrench :) all the way.

And explode in a chain reaction as well you can gut your entire workshop with a few badly placed pick swings lol
(I cheated and refunded myself my Industrial Grinder after I broke it with a pick and got the machine parts not even a machine block, since the earlier version of Gregtech the wrench didn't work and you had to pick them)

I tried the first one but it's only putting out 2 MJ. What am i doing wrong?

Hmm try these steps
1. make a large circuit board and soldering iron
2. open the soldering iron GUI
3. put 1st bronze tube to the first slot, 2nd bronze tube to the 2nd slot, tin tube to 3rd slot and then lastly put your large circuit board at the right slot

If the steps are done correctly you will see there are 3 boosts listed at large circuit board.
then just put the boosted large circuit board to the electrical engine.

Ok I'm officially aggravated. I've got my electric engines with the circuit boards in them and my magma crucible sending lava to my geothermal generator but the engines aren't getting enough power.

Wait... what you send magma crucible lava to geothermal and then use it to power electrical engines?.. it's not working that way lol..

Sry because you were asking how much electrical engines were needed to give enough power to the magma crucible, I didn't know that you are going to reroute it back to the geothermal generator.

My suggestion was to make several advanced solar panels to make lava from magma crucible (which can be used for BC energy) or other, if you want to power the industrial blast furnace, just connect the advanced solar panel to it.. Or use magmatic engine+netherracks+magma crucible (56% efficiency) and then to geothermal (or thermal generator).

ok then, this works too.dig down to height lvl 10 ish and you might find lava lakes, just pump the lava to (geo)thermal generator and hook it to mfe next to industrial blast furnace. Or you can just pump lava from nether and transport it to overworld via ender chest+liquid transposer/mystcraft to (geo)thermal generator.
