Has anyone noticed a large impact on the FPS when running the Industrial Centrifuge? I'm talking around 180 FPS down to 25-35 FPS. Or is just me that this happens to?

I've tested and confirmed it is the centrifuge, cutting the power instantly brings the fps back up, other machines on the same power do not cause any drop.

I can second that, I go from way over 100 fps to 25 as soon as it starts spinning and it goes back up to normal when it's done.

I fixed this btw by disabling the animation from the gregtech config file, it has its own option there. After that the Centrifuge ran with no performance drop.

Thanks for the fix. It's kind of odd though considering Greg is all about lag free designs...

Well never mind, it's still spinning now.

Did you just set Animations=false? That didn't work for me.

Yeah, set it to false. And yeah, mine still spins but without the fps drop. I think it is switched to a less detailed animation though.

I changed the configs for bothe client and server btw, not sure if that makes a difference.

Yeah I did too.. first switched the client, restarted and it seemed to work but it started spinning again after a few minutes. I then switched the server config and restarted the server, once again that seemed to work for a few minutes but eventually started spinning again and my frame rate is really suffering from it.

It might not be such a big deal if it didn't have to spin for a ridiculous 42 minutes for 1 recipe.
