IC2 Sounds! Lose all sound

After I touch a machine. I walk past a fire I can hear it..than I hear my rotary macerator..click on it and i lose all sound. How to fix?

IC2 sound is disabled for a reason in 1.4.7. It works perfectly in 1.5.2 however.

What is the reason for disabling IC2 sounds in 1.4.7? (I knew there is a reason, but i've never known what it is).

It used to revert to full volume all the time and was really irritating, was the disabling something to do with that?

AFAIR sound in IC never worked properly, neither in IC nor IC2

last time i had sounds on IC2 it spammed the console with the same error when ever i was close to any active machines this was in the bata pack but i dont think it was ever fixed in 1.4.7

I don't get the volume but how can I fix the engine sounds turning off after interacting with them? They sound so nice =S

**May be server related..other server I only lose sound on the rotary macerator...I can hear the generators.

Try updating your LWJGL to 2.9.0. It worked for me.
