No update for the Mindcrack edition. With all the new ores in worldgen, would anyone care to share their custom list please.

IC2.cfg entry still reads:

# List of valuable ores the miner should look for. Comma separated, format is id-metadata:value where value should be at least 1 to be considered by the miner
S:valuableOres=14:3, 15:4, 16:1, 21:3, 56:5, 73:3, 129:5

  • TC3 Infused stone, Cinnabar Ore - 200
  • Ruby - 213*
  • Xycraft Ores - 220
  • Quartz Crystal - 221
  • Sulfur / Saltpeter Ore - 244
  • Uranium Ore - 245
  • Crude Oil - 246
  • Oil Sands - 247
  • Silver Ore - 248*
  • Forestry Ores - 249
  • Beehives - 250
  • Monazit Ore - 688
  • GT Ores - 703
  • TE? Ores (Copper/Tin/Silver/Ferrous) - 2001
Starred items shouldn't show up in world gen.

Miner cannot mine hives. Most of the ores you list are added to the valuable ores list internally (maybe through the IC2 API or some other method).

Here is my current valuable ores list:
S:valuableOres=14:3, 15:4, 16:1, 21:3, 56:5, 73:3, 129:5, 200:1, 220:1, 221:1, 246:1, 247:1, 688:1

I added oil sands from your list above. If it had 'ore' in its name i tested it in creative with a miner and so far the list above are the only ones not collected.

I then did some trial runs in a random world and found the crystals, infused stone, and crude oil block. Someone in the thread i started said the infused stone may be better to leave in place -- something about TC3 auras.

That would be me. I did a mathematical analysis of how much Infused Stone a player will wind up going through in their advancement through TC3 in one of the Thaumcraft threads, including Infused Ore the player did not mine. Whenever the Aura gets low, an Infused Stone turns dull, and for the most part useless, to restore it. With Thaumcraft 3 being estimated only 25% done by Azanor around that time, the numbers were a little scary. Let me put it this way. The Wand of the Thaumaturge, which is now craftable, has the Vis storage equal to 10 Infused Stone. Drain it, and there's 10 more Infused Stone drained, dulled, and useless except to craft more absolute basic wands. Thaumcraft 3 goes through Infused Stone about like IC2 goes through Iron, but with upkeep costs and the recipes are finicky about which shards you use.
