Not on it own you need a complex bucket filler or glass bottle factory to harness the power of the mills. If the mills could take liquid water than I would agree but they don't.

liquid water
After reading all the posts, I was about to leave, but I turned quickly back after remembering this small quirk. WHAT THE HECK?!

The fact remains that it's still creating water out of... well, nothing.

Solar power takes in energy from the sun, and converts it into electricity. We already use this technology in the world, so it's not like this is science fiction. At night, it takes the same energy, simply reflected off the moon.

Yeah, solar power is powerful. However, nobody has given any reason to not like it aside from the fact that it's free energy.

But... my thermal generators, boilers, and normal generators all require the exact same amount of maintenance to operate: none. So, what exactly is the difference? Furthermore, how will making it a multiblock structure somehow mitigate the issue people have with it?

Yea only for buckets though but someone said it's actually more power effective to use glass bottles despite their filling and fabrication cost but idk what's the actual different is.

I just don't want to use it because i like pulling all those resources out of the ground and then if i don't use them they are as pointless of they were in the ground.

Your ideas are great! Can't wait to see how this turns out! :)

This is an all new mod :) we're using solar towers and shaping our energy generation system of of real life generation physics :D

yeah.. and? whats so shocking about the phrase 'Liquid water'?
Also, Mash, aqueous accumulators dont output energy, in mc water is NOT a source of energy.

Hey hey, open coder applications! We need as many coders as we can get since that is the seriously hardest part. Ive been playing around a bit a sheesh its hard xD

Oh can we also add screenies to the op so people have a better idea?

You do understand that for a simple mod like a solar tower you need 1 coder and 1 guy to do stuff like graphics. So what are you going to do? You don't need multiple coders for something like this.

I don't see what the point in getting antsy over a block like the solar panel is when a block like the aqueous accumulator exists.

At least solar panels are based on reality.
The TE items work on vanilla basics without the lag; you can make an infinite water machine using a dispenser and 3 water blocks, but it's laggy and bulky, so the Aqueous Accumulator offers a pricier but more efficient alternative. Same thing with the Igneous Extruder; infinite cobblestone from one lava and one water is available using a block breaker, but TE makes it less laggy.[DOUBLEPOST=1364914597][/DOUBLEPOST]

Ice is solid water, steam is water under the form of a gas. There are some problems with the naming because the different forms were discovered before the states of matter, but non-liquid water DOES exist

I wasn't stupid, I was just saying you can't just pipe in water into the mills. Instead you gotta put it into a container then put it in them.

I know. But seriously. He said that the water mills don't take liquid water. Of course they do.
