This sounds like a wonderful idea, I like this "Industrial Drugs" idea. Have you ever thought of integrating it with IC2 crops? That would make it an amazing mod, IC2 crops are cool but terribly underused.
And maybe use the GT centrifuge to get certain items that you can put into a brewing stand. Yes, it's for potions, but that's cool and terribly underused.
I hate to jack ILGT's thread here, but I could have made it use the IC2 crop system, although early in the design phase I decided upon making them into just normal crops because there are a few with special properties (Coca and Poppy can be harvested both by right clicking with a sword and by destroying them which gives different things, Marijuana and Broc Flower are 2 blocks tall, Xander Root has no seed except for crafting a root into 4 cuttings). I do agree that potions are underused, but at the moment I think I like the crafting recipes of the drugs as they are.

I'm not much of an "add more armor" guy, because of MPS. So many choices and I don't PvP :p But if your idea is as good as this other mod, I'd definitely give this a try.

There are going to be two types of armor, Combat and Power armor, Combat is a cheap thing to give to a lot of people just so you can make a quick assault or somthing, Power is going to have damage immunity to wither, fall damage, poison, and fire damage, possibly with water breathing, I said an alternative to quantum because you lose some of quantum's abilities, but in return you gain armor that can tank around 2.5X as much damage as quantum, although it isn't electric and repairs are costly.


Hahah, you could even make a druggie villager that will trade drugs for emeralds!

Thanks, although I would hate to take credit for the idea, I'm just the coder, that credit would go to Mensrea, admin of the Industrial War server I play on a lot.

Have any more information on Industrial Drugs?
This is the server it is currently in beta on, the OP of that post has a sort of spotlight on it, and if you scroll down to my post in that thread I explain more about the overdose system. I do plan to release to a more public audience once I have done some more balancing, and probably custom potion effects (for example, Morphine's Resistance 4 is too low for the guns pack on the war server, and anything above Resistance 4 is invincibility, literally, I have looked a the resistance code, you can not take any form damage at all).

Maybe you should try to use a mixture? Sugar cane is multiple blocks tall and it can be grown on crops. Maybe use ICcrops as an addition for enhanced crop drops. Things like Netherwart drop more wart per crop, you can make them grow faster, and things like that.
Because that's not really important due to you having crops already working like normal, you should be fine.
Maybe if forestry is installed, make certain crops grow in certain climates? Marijuana in places with warm temperatures and a higher humidity, or just faster in certain biomes (slow in the snow, fast in a swamp).

Oh, did I forget to mention that? Poppy can only be grown in Hills or Extreme Hills (no ExtraBiomes support as of yet) biomes, and Coca can only be grown in a Jungle biome.

Maybe you should try to use a mixture? Sugar cane is multiple blocks tall and it can be grown on crops. Maybe use ICcrops as an addition for enhanced crop drops. Things like Netherwart drop more wart per crop, you can make them grow faster, and things like that.
Because that's not really important due to you having crops already working like normal, you should be fine.
Perhaps, although the idea of the mod was to encourage PVP, all of my crops must have a direct line to the sky in order to grow, and the growth times of the crops are completely customizable (the default being the equivalent of wheat's growth). The thought was that it would encourage making large fields of crops so your enemies might have incentive to want to bomb them (keep in mind that this was originally made for one particular server in mind, and on that server team capitols can't be entered by the opposite team except by planes, making bombing runs a common thing).

Marajuana wouldn't grow at all in a snowy biome.

Oh, well that makes sense. It seems like it'd be an interesting concept to add into the mod, some plants that can't have sunlight. People...use shrooms, right? :p

This just shows that you should not announce a mod unless you're atleast 90% done. I liked the solar tower idea a lot but it's a shame that this thread is now suddenly about Yet Another Armor. And even your sig says that it's a solar tower mod.

And by kicking that football I'm getting up the courage and idea of what it takes to play tennis ;)

Edit: just saw the topic on the other forum. Too bad it's not on here. I really like what's been done sofar. I would suggest opening a topic here (and removing this one) since he actually got something working now.

I would like to add some suggestions (I think they're going in the wrong direction talking about coils, that's not how these things work) but I'd rather not have to join yet another forum.
