How much is the ram usage when this happens? you can check it with f3.
Logs may also help.

I heard a few others had this issue. I take it you are running Infinity? What version?

I had similar issues with 1.4.1 and for me upgrading java from 7u80 to 8u45 and giving the FTB launcher 4.0GB of RAM rather than 2.5GB has helped a lot. I also turned up the frame rate limit from 60 to 100 fps though I doubt will help when fps drops to 2.

I don't really see something that jumps out as a problem, it may be journey map as I saw some errors about it near the end before the world got saved but I wouldn't put my bet on it.

Oh okay, like I've turned my render distance to like short 6 and I've turn like everything else that would affect the fps or performance and it doesn't make a difference. To make it go back to the 70+ frames i need to completely get out of the FTB launcher and that only works for about 20 mins then it just goes to like 5 or less frames.

Is it normal for like Infinity when you start it up to not respond and takes like 5 to 10 mins to actually get to the home screen?

the time between launch and being able to do anything can indeed be quite large, and if you have a slow drive it may be even longer. I have not yet looked at how long infinity takes to launch and the not responding is also quite common in modded minecraft.
If it takes so long to load on another place say for example selecting your world and being able to actually play your world I do not think that it should take so long but I may be wrong about it.

Okay, I just wasn't sure if it was meant to take as long. Yeah its somewhat quick to load to play my world.

My tips:

Use only the RAM you need. Too much allotted RAM hurts fps. Tweaking RAM usage gave me twenty extra fps on integrated graphics. And this stopped stuttering for me.
You have too little RAM when you suffer extreme fps drops (0 fps for five seconds)

Turn off shaders and particles in the thermal expansion config. The tesseract shader kills fps on integrated graphics systems. And, overall, thermal expansion machines are not cpu friendly, but that may be bias. I have preferred to use rotarycraft for heavy processing.

I would also try the other tips.

I can pretty much guarantee this is the MystCraft profiling. Start the world and let it run untouched for an hour or so. The more MystCraft worlds you have created, the longer it will take.

then why is he able to play about an hour first with about 200 fps?
