Bug I have random crash problems...

I have been playing FTB for quite some time now, flawlessly. But lately it has been crashing for no particular reason, for what I can see. Everytime I join my friends LAN game, I can play for about 2 minutes, and then my game force closes. Nothing to do about it, as it seems to me. Now I am seeking help. It would seem as though you have something in your Inventory that can't render or you're opening something which contains an object that can't render. You can test which it is by logging in and pressing E, do you crash immediately?

Do you crash if you don't press E, take note if you don't crash what it is you do precisely at crash time, are you moving, do you open something, do you use something.

If you crash after pressing E then you can get him to rename your player dat file on his server and login, this will clear your inv completely to see if it cures the problem. I can't tell from the crash log what item it might be that's causing the crash as it seems to be a generic slot overlay error.
