Huge chunk error in my world

I have been playing FTB for about a month now and was starting to get a really good base.

All of a sudden, I logged on one day and a forest chunk was where my house use to be D:

It only left a little bit of my house behind and everything is gone. I fear I will lose my world forever if no one has a solution

Backups are the solution

I know and I understand that now but I do not have any.

Is there a program that candid it or something like that?

Manually copy and paste your world saves.
That's it, that's all, and it's as simple as that.

Haha, I know HOW to backup, I was just seeing if anyone else knew of a way to save my world
