How to get power in ftb regrowth

i'm used to ender pumps, tesseracts, and ender tanks, in this pack none of those exist. To find oil i have to roam around find oil pump it bring it back refine it and use it, where my base is i can't find a steady on hand supply of resources to keep power going. the same goes for lava have to roam, pump it, bring it back etc. Is there a simpler way?

Not a simpler way but more interesting, try using Railcraft. A youtuber called Landstryder has done some videos on it.

There are a few ways, here's some ideas
1) Botania tree farm > charcoal > Railcraft steam boiler
2) Botania mana > RF
3) Numerous amount of engines
4) Mekanism Heat Gens
5) Forestry Engines

Then into more advanced

6) Mekanism Solar/Wind turbines
