hello, im trying to add some mods to a 1.5.2 pack (OverLoad private pack) but there are id conflicts, i tried using the id resolver mod, but after many tries every time a different problem it just doesnt cut it, how can i fix id conflicts?? (if it was 2 mods then i would just change the numbers in the config files, but for so many mods i cant stay here and do this for 30 hours straight..)

1You check what item is causing the conflict
2You fix it

Notepad ++ have a feature that can search similar texts on all files at a specific location, you could use that to find if there is any id conflicts.

that won't work, there will be hundreds of conflicts[DOUBLEPOST=1381321185][/DOUBLEPOST]
Before you add the mods play the base pack, then go into NEI and dump the used/free blockid ranges.

If there would be hundreds of conflicts then you need to fix them all, not sure why that wouldn't work?...

id conflicts are an evil, but neccesarry, process to modded minecraft...there really is no "easy" way to fix them (well, the process is easy...just tedious).

lol, yeah...that would suck. That's what the NEI ID Dump that was mentioned is for though, so I'm assuming you got that now :D

One of the big reasons I am playing through the 1.6.x versions of mods right now is because of "IDFix" for 1.6.x , it autoresolves id-conflicts. Works great so far, no trouble for me.
