How To Disable Vanilla Ores

So i'm making a modpack and I want to disable vanilla ores.
I know that COFH Core might be able to do it but I don't know how. If anyone is able to help I would be very appreciated.

In config/cofh/world/Vanilla.json, set the cluster size to zero and the number of clusters to zero for each ore you want to remove.

Make sure in the CoFHCore.cfg file you actually tell CoFH Core to overwrite vanilla ore gen, else the vanilla ores will happily still generate.
