How to change Waila setting?

After updating to 1.6.2 I have what appears to be two WAILA windows at the top of my screen. The older, simple WAILA window with a black background underneath and the newer, transparent WAILA window with the metadata on top. I want to turn off the old, opaque window underneath. I cannot.

Or is this a different mod?

Post a screenshot of it.

Click 0 on your numpad and a waila screen will pop up. Try to mess around with some settings. I know there is a transparency setting.

Yup. The "alpha" setting should do it: If you set it high enough, the black background will appear.

Its not working for me. i have the alpha all the way up and its still see through. help?
