How do YOU farm trees?

My main power production is Charcoal and biomass!
I go into a forest with a good old ax and lighter. (Sometimes I cheat in an axe of the stream to fix XBXL trees)
I chop down all the wood.
Then I burn the stupid magic leaf blocks that Mojang refuses to fix! C:

Nah, I have a crazy setup. I have a timed deployer that, after planting the sapling, makes another deployer bone meal it (Soul Shard + Pulverizer) a turtle goes and chops the wood. Actually, only peat, reed and cactus don't use this method in my base.

It'd be nice if Xycraft/RC tanks could have their valves opened and extinguish fires in a large radius of a certain direction with water. Then if you put oil in it, it'd make it burn faster. It'd add another level of security on a server, as well as another way to set up a secret oil tank and burn a house down.
Forestry multifarm, usually the smallest one.
There may be faster alternatives, but this one still generates far more than I need on a day-to-day basis, and after I built up a stockpile I can use it to make rubber or netherwart or seed oil or paper instead, depending on what I need.
