I am not a new user, I want more control over the modpack (DW20 1.16), I have updated some mods as I have been playing and identified the benefits, I updated 1 that requires the latest Forge version but I have not been able to find where I need to place that update.
The app needs a option to make changes call it "Expert Mode" or "Cowboy" or "Radical" and a download option on the modlist page for mods that have updates available.....and something that say "add new forge version to this folder". Much of this was available 5 years ago. How backward do we need to go with this app

The FTB app is intended to be this way - to distribute FTB packs, not to offer the possibility to update packs or add own packs.

If you update a pack manually on the FTB app, that will kind of break it for you if you want to update to the next release of the specific pack you're playing - updating the pack to the next version will not take consideration to your manual changes.

If you find any bugs that needs fixing, please use the issue tracker to report those - so they can be fixed for everyone - link to the pack you mention:

I am beginning to understand why so many are suggesting exporting the pack and using GDLauncher. Shame

The App we currently have is just the first iteration, it has the basic functionality we need in order to be able to deliver mod packs to users. We do plan to continue to develop the App and add useful features like this but this can obviously not happen overnight. One of the key differences between the deal we have with Overwolf vs the Curse deal is that with Overwolf they encourage us to develop our App whereas with Curse we weren't allowed to do that.

Understood, I took another look and found the location to add the Forge update, and updated about 38 mods and the only problem I had was with Ensorcellation, I don't know why but I had the issue previously and everything is fine after removing it, plus I don't really miss it (sorry KingLemming). Thanks for the reply Quetzi and thanks for all you guys do. I have high hopes for the launcher.
