How do I uncover Wand Focus: Warding in my Thaumonomomomomicon?

Trying to make my way towards that, but not sure what all I have to research to get there. The research cheat sheets don't mention the warding wand focus unless I am overlooking it :(
 
I'm extremely sorry, I don't know much about Thaumcraft, that being said, unfortunately, I can't help you in this particular situation.
I just wanted to congratulate you for making me lol'. "Thaumonomomomomicon" truly deserves a place in urban dictionary.

Do you have everything else?
Not all "hidden" researches are unlocked themselves directly by scanning things, more then a few require other researches, even if they are hidden. Some non-hidden researches rely on hidden research before one can research them, as well.

Gee, who'da thunk it? I sure as hell did. Even wrote that post knowing it wasn't. A serious question I asked. Has OP gotten all those other "hidden" researches? If not, then maybe he's missing something, 'eh?

I thought I had discovered everything in Thaumcraft... then one day I realized I had a Savant bee (or something) making little knowledge fragments. And the light bulb went on. :) When I used em, it turned out there were 3 or 4 entries that I hadn't discovered yet.
 
Today I found the other item for auram not the wisp essence, the other one, one never knows it all, we just think we do, scan everything in the world & every item you craft.
 
You need excavation focus researched. I am not sure what else, but that is the prerequisite focus to warding.

I'm still trying to figure it out as well, scanned everything on the link to the cheat sheet mentioned in this thread already too.
 
Have you gotten a nether star yet? I know the warding focus requires one. Not sure if it gets unlocked when scanning I've never killed the wither yet myself, so I can't confirm.

You need to have the Focus of Equal Trade researched, and you need to have completed the Infusion Crafting research under the Artifice Tab. If you cannot see that research, make sure you have researched Essentia Distillation, which is not available until Nitor and Alumentum have been researched IIRC.
 
Last I checked, didn't you need a Primal Charm in your inventory for some time to unlock the Warding focus? I recall having a message pop up about new knowledge after holding a Primal Charm in my inventory for some time - although I tend to keep a few Primal Charms on me anyway, as they tend to spew out free vis.
