Additional Pipes (for phased transport), Treecapitator, Armor Status HUD. I wouldn't have thought much about phased transport, but Ender Chests + Wooden pipes were crashing my 1.4.5. Now that I have the phased pipes, I don't think I'll ever be able to do without them.
I really like John Smith's textures from an aesthetic standpoint and would jump over in a heartbeat if they were 128x .. but dropping to 32 is jarring. Unfortunate. Soartex is visually appealing but there's something I can't quite adjust to, might be the inventories. So I stick with Sphax 128 until I find that perfect pack - something with the same "pop" but less whimsical, ideally.
