Me and my friend were thinking about playing FTB Unleashed together on a server. The only thing is I want to try to host FTB Unleashed on another machine to reduce some lag. The computer has 2GB of ram with a 5.1 rating on it. Fairly good machine when I used to use it but now I have a different machine. Is this good enough? If it is not then it wouldn't really be a problem to host it on this machine. Thanks for any replies!

You will need approx 2gb to run a server anyways, what bit-type computer is it? 32-Bit comps can only run 1gb of Ram dedicated to one application.

Sometimes you just have to try it. Put one together, give everyone creative, and find all the ways there are to break it for the first couple weeks. Then after you've had to delete the world X times, play survival and avoid those things :).

Some suggestions; build things communally so that there arent a bagillion machines operating at once. Avoid large pipe/electrical systems, and dont make those pipes have to buffer a lot. Dont make loops in your item/electrical system, even if you need to use covers or facades to accomplish that. You may also have to trim the fat, as in remove a few mods here and there to reduce the overall load as some mods are more demanding than others.

Well that's what we do I think i'm just going to run it on my machine because it has 8GB of ram and is 64 bit. But thanks
