The Immortal's Cemetery
Heyo everybody,
I've been having a problem with the Horizon Modpack that I simply can't figure out a reasonable solution myself. The moment I join a game/world, it almost instantly, runs out of memory, on the other hand, the Unleashed Modpack, which should, at least in theory, be even more difficult for the computer to run, runs smoothly - All the in-game setting are set to low, and I don't have anything else opened, only the modpack itself.

Any solutions?

(Sorry for my bad english, by the way...)

Here's my pc specs:

Right, the problem is OpenGL based, so I suggest if you can, try updating video card drivers or just update OpenGL. This is the only thing I can suggest other than allocate more RAM to the server.

I updated my video card drivers, and disabled Opis, same error. Isn't 4GB Ram, an Intel Core I5 and a GTX 650 TI 2GB enough for this modpack? This just seems wrong...

According to your log you have 32bit windows and as such you will only be able to allocate 1gb of ram to the launcher. You will need a 64bit os and 64bit java to use more.

You have a lot of gl errors in your log. Look here for a possible solution. I would try doing a back up of your world if it is an ssp world and do a reinstall of the launcher.

I eventually am going to update my Windows to 64bit, I've been wanting to do that for a long time now. I'm just scared as shit to screw things up when it comes to installing a whole new os, you know?

I do one little thing wrong and I lost my computer for two or three weeks... After all, how hard it is to install the 64bit version of Windows? I know my computer can handle it, I researched that a couple months ago. And I apologize, this question is not related to FTB, but I wouldn't mind some help, if possible.

You need 64bit java to run most of these packs. Opis is not the issue. To assign more then 1GB of RAM to the pack you need 64bit java... and the majority of our packs need 2GB of RAM.
