I'm having a little problem whit starting enderIO (v 2.2.0).
I had my survivalist generator setup. And I putted my SAG mill next to the surivalist generator and it doesn't 'pass' the RF... and I watched several let's plays and they alsow didn't use any conduits whit their first setup... So what am I doing wrong?

If you're talking about DW20 1.7 pack then the version is broken in that update because of RF API changes. It works just fine like that on newer versions of the mod (side by side with no energy cable).

FYI, you can go into the options on any Ender IO machine and alter the functioning of each side. I think the SAG Mill should automatically accept power without changing any settings, but perhaps you inadvertantly shut off the side that is touching the generator? Just a thought.

Currently you can drop a leadstone energy cell between the generator and the SAG mill or you can use a stirling generator instead of a survivalist generator. I can always find other uses for leadstone energy cells early game anyway so I went this route. Once you've got power to your alloy smeltery you can make conductive iron and energy conduits and the problem is solved.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that even later in the game I like using survivalist generators with blocks of coal to power remote BC pumps working on lava pools and oil spouts prior to being able to easily afford tesseracts.
