Help please

I'm actually not sure where this should go because the tech support page "doesn't exist". Anyways so I've got quick question for all out there, I can't get the FTB launcher to start any of the packs. I've got java 8 installed. Any suggestions as to what I should do. I would really like to start playing MC again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It still did not work. I have JRE 7 installed and it keeps coming up with these error messages. I have linked the two logs to see if that might help.

It looks like the launcher has Java 8 as your preferred version. You need to go into the launcher options to change it to use Java 7 instead

You probably have Java 1.8.0_20... lots of problems with that one. Mojang and FtB recommend version 1.7.

The best bet is to completely uninstall 1.8, then install 1.7, otherwise you might run into upgrade issues later on.

Java 1.8.0_11 seems to run ok, but you do so at your own risk. I do, but I also run MC Snapshots, pre-releases, alpha and beta modpacks and Windows 10 Tech Preview (on a separate system... won't work with MC yet due to a video driver)

I have java 1.8.0_25, I'm trying to uninstall it as I type this. Will report back the results.[DOUBLEPOST=1413782461][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok it is fixed, I ended up having to get rid of every single version of java 8 I had including the SDK versions XD. But running off of java 7 it is working. Thank you for your help guys.
