Help me optimize my ftb experience please

I have 8 gigs of ram.

I have a dual core 2ghz processor.

I have an AMD Radeon HD 7640G + 7670M Dual Graphics Card.

I have java 1.8 64bit installed on my system.

I run the soartex resource pack.

I get about 15 fps in game. from ultimate to monster. I cant get above 4 in infinity, and i cant last longer than 5 minutes before shutting it down.

What can i do to make my experience better?

When you load the FTB launcher click options and tell us what RAM Maximum is set to?
Whilst you're also on this screen down the bottom it says java version, what is this?
Have you tried Fastcraft?

its set to 4 gigs.

java version is: 1.8.0_31

fastcraft is enabled in infinity.

I am sorry to have to say it, but I doubt you can expect a whole lot more from a 2GHz processor any more. It would probably help a bit getting rid of the texturepack(though that would be extremely painful. Soartex fan myself).
I would suggest considering either a replacement PC probably or sticking to 1.5-1.6 packs if you can accept the performance in those.

Have you reduced the view distance and particle effects, turned of clouds, or turned changed the graphics setting from "fancy" to "fast". All those things can help you get a few extra fps. For Infinity, try turning off fastcraft, as I saw a major decrease in fps when I enabled it.
