Hey there!

I'm fairly new to this kind of building and got a issue with my industrial blast furnace. I've it correctly built as you can see on image below, also connected with MFE (loaded to 600,000 with redstones). I've put my silicon cells inside it and nothing happens? I would appreciate any help! Gregtech@

Look at this: GT wiki
If you built your furnace out of standard casings you need to place 2 lava blocks inside to have enough heat capacity to smelt silicon.
Open your furnace and check number it displays. You need to have over 1500K.

MFE output on the green dot. Other 5 sides are inputs.

This, and since I'm not sure about the texture-pack I guess these cables are glass-fibre to ensure a loss-less transsition. But just stand in the direction of your blast-furnace and hit the MFE with a wrench (IC2) to adjust the direction it faces.

Oh, and for future reference:

It's not a bad idea to switch your MFE's redstone mode to "do not emit" and stick a lever on there - that way, you can let the MFE charge without disconnecting the Furnace. Handy if your power generation is slow but continuous like mine is.
