My wife and I are looking for the next modpack to play and would love a little advice on narrowing it down.
The last two modpacks we played were Agrarian Skies and Magic Farm 3. We loved them both and are looking for something with some aspects of those (especially the difficulty level) but with a little more of a world/RPG feel and the ability to build longer term.

We've played modpacks from Curse Voice, FTB, and other launchers, so we're cool with a variety of sources for the modpack.

A few of the things we are looking for:
- Needs to have a server version. We prefer playing with it installed on our server rather than one person having to host it.
- Medium to hard difficulty. We like a challenge.
- Food and farming should be more difficult and complicated. Super important! My wife loves complicated farming systems and we both like mods where food is varied and hunger is a real threat.
- Something cool like monsters that invade occasionally or unique monster types that create a sense of urgency in your building.
- Not skyblock (we love those, but have done them a lot)
- Not such an extreme amount of mods that world gen has 90 billion objects you'll never use, way too many ores (I'm lookin' at you Railcraft) and that sort of thing.
- Includes some of the fun magic and tech mods: things like botania, thaumcraft, blood magic (which we still haven't done yet but want to do), a lot of the cool machines like the smelter/pulverizer, etc. We love those.
- RPG elements are a bonus. Something that makes the world feel more meaningful and that there is an overall challenge/goal.
- Interesting dimensions to travel to is a bonus as it does add something interesting to the world, but not required.
- Stable. (nothing worse than loving a modpack and then having it crash all the time).
