My name is mathjazz. I am from Los Angeles, living in Utah for my master's degree in mathematics.

I started playing Minecraft June of 2012, and started playing modded minecraft in September 2012.
My favorite mod is Railcraft, but I also love Traincraft, Thermal Expansion and Applied Energistics.

I am planning on writing a mod that gives more uses to Creosote Oil this summer, as I tend to aquire a lot of it in my worlds.

Or a mod that helps me automate fishing...

I figure that since this is my thread, I can continue to post on it, even if I have already been introduced.
In addition to another use for Creosote (I am thinking as a potion ingredient), I want to add a way to get feathers from chickens without killing them. Call me old fashioned, but I love using the bow in Minecraft, and I feel bad slaughtering chickens faster than I can eat them. It is a moral dilemma. I end up eating only chicken, and giving the rest away to the people on my server.

How about an enchantment for shears, which also allows you to get leather from cows?

And for creosote oil, how IS the mod going?
