Summary of the problem Headcrumbs Mobs have no skin texture

Pack Version 3.0.0

What is the bug? All Headcrumbs mobs do not have a skin texture. They are just an all white colored mob. If the person they are based off has a cape, then the cape will display. It is just the skins that don't display. When using a spawn egg, the character will spawn in as a Steve, change to their skin, then change all white in fairly fast succession.

Mod & Version Headcrumbs 2.0.1

Is it repeatable? Yes.

Known Fix I have not found a fix or workaround. However, I can not duplicate it in a test pack with just Forge and Headcrumbs installed.

I'm having the issue on 3.0.1 on windows. It's not windows per say, but whether launched through curse launcher or not, mine is fine when launched through curse but not when launched through multimc (I have copied the pack across to multimc on my ramdisk for faster pack load times). I haven't gone into testing specific java versions or anything yet to see if I can narrow down the issue further.

I wonder if it then has an issue with connecting to the net to download the skins. Hmmmm.

Well, it seems able to download my player skin just fine. One doesn't even need to be logged into a mojang account to access the skins database API. Also if it was skin couldn't download, they'd all be Steve skins, not switch to skin then quickly switch to a white non-texture? This looks to be some sort of odd rendering issue to me. I do plan to fire up wireshark just to check, but I'm fairly sure it's not the connections to the api that is the issue here.

Yep, got the data going back and forth to the api just fine also, it is rendering the capes just fine. I have also told multimc to load using the java runtime in the curse client install and still have broken skins then.

This seems to only happen to players on Linux and Mac OS.

Not a problem with me. (I'm Linux.) Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen white textures in minecraft for headcrumbs. (Chests on the tinker's construct crafting station show a black and pink checkerboard, however.)
