Having an issue with Mass Fabricator and a RP Manager

My set up is like this:

I have scrap in a barrel. Manager connected to the bottom of the barrel. Second manager connected to the bottom of the Mass Fab.


The mass fab. is getting the scrap without any problem. The problem seems to come from when the manager adds the correct amount of scrap to the mass fab. The mass fab. just stops running. I have to take the scrap out and place it back in the machine in order to get it working again.

Is there a way to work around this so I don't have to babysit this machine?

maybe put a relay between the manager and the mass fabricator? because it looks like it's a bug that's causing the problem

It's not a bug. The manager emits a redstone signal when its demand is satisfied. The massfab will shut off when receiving a redstone signal.

Try setting the manager to keep 65 scrap in the massfab. This way it will never be satisfied and never emit a signal.
