I do believe that is not intended and is being fixed.
If you have Twilight Forest and Soul shards it is easy---too easy---to make a T5 Witch Soul shard. Is the anvil combining intentional or an exploit? I really should pull the 18k glass bottles out of my AE system.
How is coal diamonds? I thought it was only industrial diamonds, which seem to have fairly limited use. Or am I missing something important? (Anyhow, my fortune pick gives me plenty of diamonds and skeleton spawners in the nether give me plenty of coal for carbon platesMaybe not very bad for iridium, but if you make bullets, it kinda stupid...
And main issue is not redstone, it's coal, isn't it? Coal is valuable. Coal is diamonds, carbon plates and so on...
Check out the recipe, it now gives you diamonds instead of industrial diamonds. How is coal diamonds? I thought it was only industrial diamonds, which seem to have fairly limited use. Advanced drills are still book-enchantable. Same is true for all items from the gravisuite mod. Adv. jetpack, Adv. nano, Gravi chest plate......So...I won't be able to remake my drill that goes thru cobble with blinding speed? Poo.
Oh. I keep assuming stuff is like it was when I was playing Ultimate singleplayer. My bad.Check out the recipe, it now gives you diamonds instead of industrial diamonds.
afaik industrial diamonds have always been able to be converted directly to diamonds just by dropping them into the crafting grid.Oh. I keep assuming stuff is like it was when I was playing Ultimate singleplayer. My bad.
Wow, learned 2 things today, the redstone/coal dust=gunpowder recipe, and the Industrial Diamond conversion, thanks guys!afaik industrial diamonds have always been able to be converted directly to diamonds just by dropping them into the crafting grid.
Although it is true that Austere will only make the gunpowder producing combs in a desert/arid biome, they do have to be mutated in the nether. I have done this myself. If you look in a master apiarists database, it will show the percent chance of a mutation as being 0% if you are in the overworld. It will only be possible in the Nether. Not correct. Austere's will mutate anywhere, and in fact their preferred biome is desert. One of the two bees required to mutate to Austere can itself only be mutated in the Nether.
Also, Austere bees will not make gunpowder unless they're in an arid/dry biome like desert or savanna. Batty and Creeper bees will make gunpowder anywhere, but Austere is significantly faster.

I'm sorry, but you kind of have no proof... I invite anyone to spawn in a master apiarists database, or use a normal one, and see that the mutation chance is 0% when in the overworld. You currently have no proof, and I do, so until you show me a video of you breeding an Austere in the overworld, I think we can see that I am correct.y
You are absolutely, positively, 100% wrong.
I'm sorry, but you kind of have no proof...
Also, I really hope your talking about not using any temperature modifying devices like an alveary heater, becuase those can be used to create Austere bees. I've only been talking about a natural mutation.Because, frankly, I don't give a damn what you believe. This is neither a debate nor an attempt to win you over. Facts are facts, and I've mutated austere bees several times, and know where they work. I don't give a care what the database says, because I know how it actually works in versions up to and including the last release for 1.4.7.
