once the biome is changed it's changed. You can prob change it back with etheral blooms if you wanted to. But you can safely chop tree/remove node after the biome is changed.

The biome change is permanent. It will stay the same forever.

The biome will stay unless something else (sinister node, other mods biome changers) changes the biome. Left "alone" the biome will stay put no matter what happens to the tree, if the tree is taken down all that happens is the biome stops spreading.

I think the blooms would only change it back from Eerie/tainted(if you ever get an infestation of those) to the Magical forest again.

I'm guessing there rhn tbh. The bloom reverts biomes to their natural conditions after a magical transformation has taken place. I assume this also applies to Magical Forest from Silverwoods as well as the tainted/eriee biomes.

I always thought it was two separate things but I guess you are right:

Ethereal Bloom can also purify Magical Forest Biomes created by Silverwood Pure Nodes, and Eerie Biomes created by Sinister Aura nodes, restoring them back to their original biome.

Yeah the very easiest way of changing it would probably be to just gather loads of Silverwood saplings and plant those. They will transform the area into Magical forest which have a bright green grass colour.
Pure nodes in the silverwoods will transform a larger area, but even trees with no nodes will transform the area into magical forest. Just not in as large a range.

All of the thaumcraft biome conversion blocks work on a 15x15 area centred on the block. TC for 1.7.10 spawns all the pure nodes up the central core of the tree, so the new biome will be centered exactly on where the sapling is placed. However, the biome transformation will not occur if the tree does not spawn with a pure node. Or at least, a tree spawning without a pure node will not transform non-tainted biomes.

The sapling of transformation from Twilight Forest has a transformation *radius* of 16 or 20. But it transforms an actual circular area.

Also, Witchery (as mentioned), and IC2 if its in the pack.

TF's Enchanted Forest, if I remember correctly. All the grass, leaves, tall grass, etc. change between bright green and pale blue at random intervals- if you want all your foliage to be the same color, you'd be better off with something else.
